Change is the only constant

Today, after two years at Blockchains, Inc., I will be transitioning from my position as SVP of Technology into a technical advisor role.

The last few years have been an incredible journey. Together with my brother Simon, as well as Stephan Tual, we launched slock.it in 2015. At Devcon 1 in London, we presented our ambitious goals. Not everything went as planned (TheDAO), but we certainly gained a lot of experience, worked enthusiastically on the future of blockchain technology, and built an incredible team. With IN3 (Incubed), we set out to connect IoT devices to the Ethereum blockchain with a minimal footprint. We were able to support many exciting and promising projects in the space and continue to do so.

In 2019, after hearing about its bold vision, slock.it joined the Blockchains family. We enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to develop secure digital identity and digital asset management solutions as well as IoT solutions for the ambitious northern Nevada smart city project. It was a commitment to build human-centric products for the purpose of empowering the individual. The team continues to build out this grand vision; I am excited about the future and will follow the project closely as an advisor!

I want to thank all of whom I had the pleasure to work with and learn from on the day-to-day. I continue to stay excited about what the future holds. One chapter ends, another one begins. Change is the only constant.
